About us
Our Story
We are a group of high school students from Cary, North Carolina who are passionate about Biology, Anthropology, Environmental Engineering, and related fields. We are eager to further educate ourselves and immerse others in these fields in hopes of promoting a more knowledgeable and equitable society.
Banthro was founded in late 2022. From the very start, we knew that we wanted this organization to facilitate change. As high school students, we recognize that the future we create is the one in which we will live. As such, we are responsible for forging the path to a brighter future. This future will have cleaner air, greater resources, and better human relations.
We believe that the key to unlocking a brighter future is through education. Thus, this is how we can make a difference. By offering free educational and research opportunities to students, we cultivate a mindset that strives to create change. Together, we can build the future in which we want to live. A future in which we want our children to live.
